Have you gotten spam from arzynik.com and wanted to know wtf it was? WELL ITS NOT FROM ME! Heres what alot of spamers do to send emails.
Have a domain spider spider for random domain names that are active and are not well known. This will give them a list like poobucket.com, ihateyou.com, arzynik.com, or whatever
They then send fake test emails to common names like mike@poobucket.com, or support@arzynik.com. Email addreses that get a bounce reply (Mail delivery failure) do not generaly get used, but if it doesnt get bounced its (generaly) a good email. Now the spamer has a list of email addreses to send "From"
Geting email addreses to send "To" is complex and theres millions of ways. Usualy its just spidering online for email addreses listed on webpages, profiles, or they buy email lists from someone who has already done this and your email address gets pased arround like a 2c hooker. Now the spammer has a list of To and From so they can send a full email.
The way email works is you send a simple thing like:
To: email@domain.com
From: mean@guy.com
Subject: Do you love spam!!!!
Here is the email. I hope you love me and enlarge your penis!
As you can see it is very easy to just send a different email addres in the From field to "Spoof" the email.
Lately ive been geting lots of bounces to my domain so I asume someone on another round of using my domain. My domain is fucking old so its been used tons of times. They usualy only use it for a week or so. Im not goping to appologize for anything cause nothing is my fault, but you can however look at the origional header of the email, find the ip it was sent from, and contact the authorities in that country about it. Spaming is ileagle is most countries. So help stop it!
